Badalamenti - Butterfly's Dreams


Γυρνώντας στα στέκια του Κεραμεικού ομολογώ ότι έχεις να αντιμετωπίσεις κάτι πρωτόγνωρο όσον αφορά το υλικό και άυλο επίστρωμα που καλύπτει σαν πέπλο αέρα από την Θηρεσία το κομμάτι αυτό της Αττικής....αέρας που φέρνει άρωμα "διεγερτικών" ελαίων από κερί και ατμό.

Εάν συνοδεύεσαι, το ταίρι σου ανταποκρίνεται άμεσα νομίζοντας ότι ο κόσμος αποτελεί απλά διακόσμηση μινιμαλιστική στο μεταμοντέρνο τοπίο...ερωτικό κάλεσμα που το κρεβάτι απλά αποτελεί κορύφωση και τίποτα άλλο.

Εάν δεν συνοδεύεσαι και βρεθείς να πίνεις με φίλους σου στο 2ο δεξιά μπαράκι στην τοποθεσία 25 μοίρες δεξιά από τις 45...(όποιος κατάλαβε κατάλαβε!)θα αντιληφθείς ότι ο DJ δεν είναι τίποτα παραπάνω από μια καρικατούρα που συμμετέχει στο κόμικ Βαβέλ..ή μάλλον στο φεστιβάλ κόμικ που δεν γίνεται καθόλου τυχαία στο Γκάζι.

Πέρασα από το μπαρ πήρα την μπύρα..και γέμισε ο χώρος "πεταλούδες" ενώ το Butterfly's Dreams του Badalamenti μου θύμισε να αθετήσω για μια ακόμη φορά την υπόσχεσή μου για γάμο...η συνέχεια είναι αβέβαιη και αστάθμητη για όσους περάσουν από εκεί. Καταλάβατε όλοι φαντάζομαι.(?)

ΡΕΜΠΕΤΙΚΟ-ΜΠΑΤΗΣ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ

Αγαπητοί φίλοι η συμβολή του ρεμπέτικου ταργουδιού στην ελληνική κοινωνία και κατά επέκταση στον ελληνικό πολιτισμό ήταν κάτι παραπάνω απο σημαντική. Το ρεμπέτικο αυτό το βαθύτατα λαικό ρεύμα δημιούργησε τις βάσεις και τις προυποθέσεις για την μετέπειτα πολιτιστική Άναγέννηση΄' των δεκαετιων του 50 και του 60. Όλοι μας έχουμε βαρεθεί τα αφιερώματα στους ίδιους και στους ίδιους 'Αγίους΄' του ελληνικού τραγουδίου ξεκινάω λοιπόν μια προσπάθεια προβολής και παρουσίασης μερικών λιγότερο εώς παντελώς αγνώστων αλλά σημαντικότατων καλλιτεχνών αυτής της περιόδου οι οποίοι΄υπήρξαν πολύ σημαντικότεροι από άλλους stars....... O Γεώργος Μπάτης ή Τσωρός υπήρξε ένας από τους σημαντικότερους μάγκες και ρεμπέτες του Πειραιά.Γεννημένος στα Μέθανα το 1886 και χωρίς να έχει κανένα οικογενειακό ερέθισμα από μικρός ασχολήθηκε με την μουσική και κυρίως το μπουζούκι.Θεωρείται από τους πρώτους που επέβαλαν το μπουζούκι και στο μουσικό στερέωμα είναι γνωστές οι δηλώσεις του Μάρκου που τον αναφέρει ω...

Fallen angel , 1945

Dana Andrews and Linda Darnell in Fallen Angel (1945),  a film noir directed by Otto Preminger.  Starring Dana Andrews, Alice Faye, and Linda Darnell.  An unemployed drifter, Eric Stanton wanders into a small California town and begins hanging around the local diner. While Eric falls for the lovely waitress Stella, he also begins romancing a quiet and well-to-do woman named June Mills. The Heat of the Night, 1967, crime movie

Norman Jewison’s crime thriller "The Heat of the Night" is an extremely well directed and acted film picked up five Oscars, including best actor for Rod Steiger. The scenes shot on location in Sparta, Illinois.  In the small town of Sparta, Tibbs, a black detective, is arrested when a white man is found dead. Ths small town of Mississippi features a police department led by Chief Gillespie (Rod Steiger), a man slow to adapt to the changing times who is clearly outmatched by Tibbs. After Tibbs identity is revealed, the pair act out an odd couple partnership as they work to solve the crime, and in the process, they learn to form a mutual respect for each other.  Even if Rod Steiger has never been better as the bigoted police chief you don't feel that he and Poitier are trying to surpass each other and the strength of the script and intrigue only adds to the palpable racial tension in the city.
